Ill Behaviour, the second single from the album Rave Digger, reached No. 36 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 7 on the UK Dance Chart after joining BBC Radio 1's A-list on 8 September 2010; Sweet Harmony, Byrd's remake of the Liquid record, became his first Singles Chart entry at No. 64 on 7 February 2010 and reached No. 6 on the UK Dance Chart. Red Mist and Red Mist VIP: the UK Dance No. 1
Red Mist, credited to Danny Byrd feat. IK, reached No. 147 on the UK Singles Chart in 2009, and its VIP version went furthest of all: Red Mist VIP reached No. 1 on the UK Dance Chart in the week ending 25 July 2009. The VIP then travelled wider than any other Byrd single, with 4 sourced placements: Hospital's compilation Sick Music, the film Dead Man Running, and the games Midnight Club LA and DJ Hero. Red Mist itself appears on the debut album Supersized, released 26 May 2008 and covered on The albums page. The chart entries that followed paired Byrd with singers and labelmates, most visibly Netsky on Tonight.
Tonight feat. Netsky and We Can Have It All
Tonight, Danny Byrd's 2011 song featuring Netsky, reached No. 91 on the UK Singles Chart, No. 11 on the UK Dance Chart and No. 75 in Flanders on the Ultratop chart, the only sourced placing outside the UK in the discography. The early Hospital singles: Do It Again and Changes
The early Hospital singles were Do It Again and Changes, Danny Byrd's first releases for the label after he signed in 1999 as one of its first artists. Hospital Records, for a reader arriving at the label name rather than the artist, is a British independent record label based in East London, started in 1996 by Tony Colman and Chris Goss, primarily releasing drum and bass. That early period was later collected in 1 place: Medical History, a compilation of the early singles, arrived 5 March 2007 on Hospital Records as a digital download, and the full album sequence from Supersized to Atomic Funk sits on The albums page. Byrd's credited songs also predate the Hospital run: Manhattan appeared in 1998, The Strutt and Walk Tall in 2000, and Planet Music in 2004, with Adrok feat. MC Foxy.
